WHAT THE FRIENDS DO FOR THE LIBRARY:
The Friends of the North Haven Library is a non-profit, 501(c)3 volunteer organization. The focus of the group is to foster relations between the North Haven Library and the community, to focus attention on library services, and to encourage and support fund raising activities.
All proceeds are used to fund children and adult programs, museum passes and expenses not covered by the Town budget including:

​Best Friends Book Store

Located on the main floor of the North Haven Memorial Library, this store is open during regular library hours. Additionally, there are two carts in the lobby featuring Children's Books and bestselling adult books.
All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Library. Stop by and check out the everyday low prices! The store is open the same hours as the library.

The Friends welcome gently used books to sell in our bookstore. We ask that the books are in decent condition, don't smell and have no bugs.
Bought a book from our store and want to donate it back? No problem. Remember, all proceeds of the bookstore support the library's programs and museum passes, so we welcome them back so they can find a new home.
